Business leaders know that customers quickly speak out when they don’t like something. Unfortunately, they are slow to share good experiences with your business. Doctors Memorial Hospital was a rural healthcare provider working hard to innovate and grow services, but their online Google reviews just hadn’t caught up to reflect the quality of care their team was providing. When we started working together, their Google customer review score was 2.8 and we established a goal together to improve that above 4.0
Our plan was simple. Many customers have never left a review on a business’s Google page. We wanted to make it as easy as possible and let them know how much we appreciate it.
We designed a small, 4” x 6” postcard-sized piece that a customer could quickly scan using their cell phone’s camera and post a Google review. These could be handed out by staff, after a service, or could just be available as a take-one in convenient areas.
After starting our work in April, within a week we’d printed and delivered these Review Generator cards, on May 1, 2021. The total cost was $280 which included design, printing and set up of the software system. After just 90 days, a total of 23 new Google Reviews had been posted directly by scanning the card. The average score from those new reviews was 4.5 out of 5.
Doctors Memorial was only averaging 1.5 Google reviews per month before our work but after the card that has increased to over 7.5 per month. Overall, their Google score has improved to 3.6 in just 3 months and well on their way to achieving their 4.0 goal. To see Doctors Memorial Google page and current score; click here.
