YouTube is Becoming a Preferred Place to Advertise
Published on December 9, 2019 by Dana Kerigan
It’s clear that video marketing is growing at an astonishing rate. It’s also clear that both businesses AND consumers want more of it. YouTube has grown to become the world’s second largest search engine, just behind Google. About 50% of all internet users look for videos about a product or service before making a purchasing decision.
According to Google, every month, over 1 billion people watch more than 6 billion hours of YouTube video. With such a large audience spending so much time on one platform, YouTube is becoming the preferred place to advertise.
If you’re new to the concept of video marketing, fear not; you’ve joined the video revolution just in time and it’s easy and effective. Just take out your phone, point and shoot. And, thanks to the internet, showcasing your marketing videos has never been easier.
You may think you’re not skilled enough to make videos. That doesn’t matter, just start. Today’s consumers would rather watch someone explain a product or service than read about it.
So, no excuses. Get out there and start creating awesome marketing videos today.
You’ve got this.
